Important Notice About Device and IP Address Usage
Your SmartViewTV 2 Login CAN NOT BE SHARED and may only be used on multiple IP addresses under the following conditions:
You may use one mobile device only (such as a smartphone or tablet) across different locations.
You may not use streaming devices like Amazon Fire Sticks or Android TV Boxes on multiple IP addresses. (Different Houses)
Example: You can take your mobile phone or tablet to a friend’s house and stream SmartViewTV — that’s allowed. However, you cannot take your Fire Stick or Android Box to a different location (such as a friend’s house) to watch content.
Doing so will result in your device being locked out, and we will need to manually reset the device. If it becomes an issue, a reconnection fee will be charged.
APP Instructions
For Firestick:
In your Firestick Settings you will need to allow unknown apps to work in Developer Options. Firesticks may vary with the steps but the concept is the same.
Turn on your Firestick
Press the “Home” button on the remote to get to the Home screen.
Select “Settings“.
Select “My Fire TV” or “System“.
Select “Developer Options“.
Select “Install unknown apps“ or "Allow unknown apps"
"Some new Firestick has Developer Options disabled.
If you can't find developer options, open Firestick settings. Go to My Fire TV. Click About. Click on your Fire device 7 times to unlock Developer Options.
Next, you will need to download a free app called "Downloader" if not already installed
Go to the home screen of Fire TV / Stick if you are not already there
Use your remote to navigate to Find > Search on the menu bar in the middle of the screen
Now type in ‘Downloader’ (without the quotes of course) using the onscreen keypad (use the remote to navigate to the letters.)
You should see the app suggestions on the list that show up as you begin typing. When you see ‘Downloader’ on the list, select and open it
You should now see ‘Downloader’ appear under the ‘APPS & GAMES’ section. Go ahead and click it
Now click the ‘Get’ or ‘Download‘ button to download and install the app. You should have the app in no more than a couple of minutes.
NOTE: IMPORTANT. Please allow all permissions if asked while installing Downloader "Service will not work without allowing"
Once the app is installed, you will again see it in the Apps & Games section and probably on the home screen among the recently installed apps.
Open downloader and be sure to allow and give full permissions if/when asked or our app will not work.
In the URL section of the home screen at top left "Not the browser" you will need to type in: 3681166
Download should start automatically. Once downloaded, click install and allow any permissions asked. “Again, this is very important or the service will not work”
Once installed, our app will be in your apps section of your Firestick. Once you use our app it will start appearing on the home screen for easy access. Or see below to manually move the app to the home screen.
If you want to manually move our app to your home screen follow these steps:
On the Firestick Home Screen Select App Launcher
Highlight our app "SmartView2"
Press the button on your remote that has 3 Horizontal Lines
A text menu will appear on the right hand side of the screen
Select Move to Front
Our app will now appear at the top in your 6 Home Screen Apps
Open the app and click Login
Give permission to store data "Important"
Click Allow
The easiest way to navigate through the thousands of channels is to select "ALL" in the categories on the left top. Once selected, use the search feature on the top right to search for a specific channel ie; Hallmark, Fox News, WKYT, etc
Once the channel you're looking for is found, press the center/ok button on the remote to add it to your favorite list. Once all your favorite channels are in your list you can use that list instead of searching through all the channels.
Movies/Series App
To download our Cinema Pro app, open Downloader and enter 1315745 into the URL field. Once downloaded, login with the same credentials used for the Smartview 2 app. Find a show, pick a link, and watch. If the link doesn't work, pick a different link.
For Android phones and streaming devices such as Nvidia Shield and Onn devices:
Download the app called "Downloader" and enter: 3681166 in the URL field. Or click/copy this link:aftv.news/3681166
To download our Cinema Pro app for movies/series, open Downloader and enter 223540 into the URL field. Once downloaded, login with the same credentials used for the Smartview 2 app
We don't have an app that supports Roku, Samsung and LG at this time. We recommend getting an Onn device from Walmart for about $20.00 to use.
HOWEVER: We are told that some clients are getting Smarters Pro on Samsung TV's to work, but there are several knock-offs on the Samsung store. The real one that works will not ask for MAC address or offer a "free trial". Log in with your username/password and this for the URL: 216.227.152.82 Playlist name can be anything you like.
